I have collaborated on a regular basis and for several years with the KSO, an excellent orchestra that commissioned many arrangements, symphonic and others. The night before Christmas is an original composition, a musical inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's poem: ‘Twas the night before Christmas. Playwright Adam Pasen has made brilliant use of the original story, placing it with humour and tenderness in a more up-to-date context. Primarily intended for a young audience, The night before Christmas was premiered on December 18, 2016 at the Chenery Auditorium, Kalamazoo, under the direction of Daniel Brier. Cast: Carly Koch as Lucy Snow; Jay Kurtis Oetman as Greg Snow; Brittin Schumaker as Barbara Snow; Lou Price as Grandpa/Santa.
